Choosing Triple Glazing for Quieter Homes

The window frame needs to be using the highest quality glass and this glass must be thicker than the standard glass that would come in most typical window installations – this is typically laminated or specialist acoustic glass.

Three Panes of Glass

One key thing to be aware of is that you don’t want the three panes of glass in your triple glazed window the same thickness – they each need to have a different thickness otherwise the window will have little impact on reducing the noise levels outside. A large air gap between the panes of glass is also really important.
